The Great Grate Whoopie: A Music & Arts Benefit Call For Art

I have the great honor of helping out at the first annual The Great Grate Whoopee! an art and music benefit at the Great American Music Hall. Any Bay Area artists want to participate??? We are limiting the space to 50 artists so RSVP soon! Details below:

THEME: AGE OF INSPIRATION

This year we are looking for 50 artists to contribute one piece each to The Great Grate Whoopee charity event. The art show is limited to 50 artists, so please RSVP quickly if you are interested in participating. The

Benefit’s purpose is to raise awareness and to raise money for those in need and those struggling.

ALL Proceeds from ticket sales go to charity and a PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS of the art sales GO TO CHARITY!!!

How to submit your work/schedule

1. Each Artist will submit one art piece

2. Art piece should be 8 x 11 inches up to 36 x 48 inches *

3. Each piece has a $20 submission fee (includes your entrance into the show)

4. Each piece will then be offered for sale with portion of profits going to charity

5. Each piece will be exhibited on an easel and will have some temp lightning

6. Artists will submit art by Feb 7th 2014, earlier is better.

7. From 6PM – 7PM there will be a VIP viewing of the art

8. The show will be up one night from 6PM-1:30AM, Music from 7PM-1:30PM

As part of the Great Grate Whoopie a Music & Arts Benefit for North Beach Citizens and Sweet Relief, we are launching this fundraising campaign to help support awareness and raise additional funds for both causes. Let's start 2014 off on the right foot and and be courageous and generous in helping others this year by making a commitment to our community.
 

North Beach Citizens was founded in 1996 by Francis Ford Coppola and group of North Beach residents and merchants, it has made a great difference in helping the homeless in San Francisco. Sweet Relief was founded by singer-songwriter Victoria Williams in 1993.Sweet relief provides relief in the form of financial assistance to many musicians who would otherwise be in untenable predicaments.
